Dear Student,

Right now you are looking at this book trying to figure out whether this school is a good prospect. If you love Jesus with all your heart and want to learn how to serve Him to the fullest, this school is for you. R.S.U.M. is not a full-time ministry, it is an overtime ministry. You’re always doing ministry, whether you’re sitting in class learning or at The ROC doing property clean-up. In the course of the school year, you not only learn God’s Word front to back, you learn how to apply it to your daily life. We have the most on-fire, soulwinning teachers that love Jesus with all their heart. At some Christian schools, you are only taught about ministry, but at R.S.U.M you will not only be a hearer of the word, you will be a doer as well. R.S.U.M. is not your everyday Christian college. We take learning to a new level, in and out of the classroom. At R.S.U.M. you will be challenged to step out of your comfort zone, but who said Christianity was supposed to be comfortable? You have to be flexible and make yourself available to be used by God..

At R.S.U.M. you will be taught every attribute you need to serve in full-time ministry. I’m excited to see what God is going to do in the City of Richmond. If you would like to be a part of what God is doing and is going to do, make the decision to be an R.S.U.M. student. As the Dean of Students at R.S.U.M., it will be my job to pastor you throughout your journey; so I will be with you every step of the way. As Pastor G. always says, “We ain’t seen nothin yet.”
