The ROC School of Urban Ministry is probably one of the most unique schools in America. We believe God has given us a great opportunity to do something not normal, but extraordinary!

Not unless you aren’t afraid to go the extra mile and be a little different than traditional Christianity. Not unless you realize that life is too short not to spend it doing what God wants you to do!

Our approach at R.S.U.M. is unique. We don’t believe in the stuffy, bookish, all-lecture style of teaching. We think it’s silly for a Christian to spend hours and hours learning things they can’t apply and will never use. We are more concerned about training Christians to serve Jesus and giving them the tools they will need to get the job done. We do not want to keep our students in a classroom, but we want to have our students “get their hands dirty” for the Lord! We think it is time to get down to earth and give people what they need for life. Yes, we teach several so-called “deeper subjects,” but we teach them from a practical, scriptural approach. R.S.U.M. is not simply looking for students. We are looking for the right kind of students. We are looking for students, whether they are young, middle-aged, older, single, or married, who have a burning desire to give 100% of themselves to God.
