New Testament Survey A foundational survey of the New Testament. Each book and its complexities is studied in depth.

Personal Evangelism An emphasis on the man, methods, message, and means of evangelism. This course is a careful study of the Spirit-filled life of the soulwinner, as well as the work.

Teaching the Bible This course is designed to help men of God teach the Bible, the most important Book in every local New Testament Church.

Preaching A study of the preparation and delivery of sermons. This course is designed to instruct in selecting, outlining, and gathering materials, as well as in delivering the message.

Application of Christian Ethics This course discusses moral issues, teaching students to base their morals on the Word of God.

Starting a New Testament Church This course will explore hundreds of practical ideas on how to start a church.

Church Leadership A basic course on leading others in the ministry.

The Church A course teaching what the Bible says a New Testament Church should be.

Pastoral Counseling Teaching basic principles of solid Biblical counseling.

The Bus Ministry Students will have the opportunity to learn the philosophies behind Virginia’s largest bus ministry.

Youth Ministry Teaching methods and philosophies of reaching and training teenagers, covering such subjects as youth activities, soulwinning, music, and many other phases of reaching and training teenagers.

Music in the Church This course teaches students how to use music as a tool to reach out, not only to the church, but to the inner-city, as well.

Introduction to Missions An introductory course challenging the students to live sacrificial lives as Christians. Included is a study of the Biblical basis for missions, the role of the layperson and local church, and an overview of a missionary’s call and preparation for the mission field.

Biographies of Great Preachers A study of men God has used to preach the Gospel to the masses.

Financing the great commission A study of methods used to help finance an urban ministry, and how to raise money to promote the cause of Christ.

The Art of Communication Teaches students how to effectively communicate through temperament recognition, public speaking, effective listening, and understanding the dynamics of counseling and coaching through a biblical perspective.

The wife of a man of God This course studies the role of the wife in making her husband and home complete.

Women of the Bible: A study of the women of the bible and their character traits, teaching women the fundamental biblical values for Godly Christian character.

Introduction to Education A course teaching the history of education and its importance to our culture. It also teaches the church’s role in education.

How to operate a Christian School for inner-city children In this course, students will be able to study under the founder of one of the most effective Christian schools in America.

How to operate an After-School Program In this course, students will learn how to operate a successful after-school program and learning center.

How to rear children This is a course specifically for women, teaching them how to grow children God’s way.

Coaching Inner-City Children Students will learn from the Youth Director of The ROC how to start and coach successful inner-city sports teams.

The Science of the Christian Life Studies the teachings of a man with a Pastor’s heart who has made a science of the Christian life.

The Age of Reformation A consideration of the political and religious developments of sixteenth-century Europe. Considerable attention is given to the works of Martin Luther, John Calvin, the English Reformation, and the Anabaptists.

SoulWinning 101 This course is the backbone of R.S.U.M., equipping every student with the tools they need to be effective soulwinners.

Formation of Biblical Doctrine A study designed to show how Biblical doctrine is established.

The Integrity of the Bible Learn how to answer alleged discrepancies in Biblical doctrine.

The Great Commission A scripturally founded study on the elements and application of Christ’s Great Commission of the Church.

The Apostle Paul A biographical study on the life of Paul, as recorded in the Bible.

Prayer A study of the importance of prayer for the Christian. Emphasis is placed on the Biblical explanation and practical application of vital lessons.

The Holy Spirit A study of the ministry of the Holy Spirit as He works in and through the believer.
